Allama Zameer Akhtar Naqvi

Allama Zameer Akhtar Naqvi has passed away. He was born in March 1944 in Lucknow, British India. His father’s name was Syed Zaheer Hassan Naqvi while his mother’s name was Syeda Mohsina Zaheer Naqvi. Zaheer was named at birth. He migrated to Pakistan in 1967 and settled permanently in Karachi. Academically, he matriculated from Hussainabad School in Lucknow and completed Intermediate from Government Jubilee College, Lucknow. He graduated from Shia College, Lucknow.

Author of more than 300 books in literature, culture, history, philosophy, sociology, linguistics. Scholars who have given more than ten thousand meetings and lectures. Poets who have mastered Mir Anis and Dabir. Khatib who says the whole assembly in one sentence. To this day, I have not seen a single person whose one sentence after another became so popular. “Shiates do not mention anyone except Mawla Ali. No one will listen, no turn will come.” Allama Zameer Akhtar Naqvi’s distinctive accent, bright eyes, style of speech, language and speech went with him.

He died due to heart attack on September 13th, 2020 and shall be buried in Wadi-e-Hussain, super highway, Karachi, Pakistan after last prayer in Imam Bargah Shuhda-e-Karbala, F.B.Area, Karachi, Pakistan where Pak Hyderi Scouts Pakistan and other scouts, different Tanzeems, and million of people attended his funeral activities.
