Research
Extracting New Knowledge by some Scientific Procedure or Systematic Process is called Research.
The Key Point for Research is “Recommendation”. The Recommendation is mandatory for any Research.
Research can be divided into two categories:
1. Qualitative Research
The purpose of Qualitative Research is Exploratory. Deep Research is required for Qualitative Research because this Research is conducted very First Time for Exploration.
2. Quantitative Research
This is not new research; the purpose of Quantitative Research is Explanatory or Gap Identification. Further research is to provide an Explanation for specific knowledge or infer the results.
Different Software shall be used for Data Analysis. The most basic Software is used for Primary Data are SPSS, SmartPLS, AIMS PLUS and for Secondary Data is EViews.
Two types of Data shall be used for Research purpose.
- Primary Data
- Secondary Data
DATA can be Quantitative such as Collecting Data Numerically, and Qualitative for instance Scales Response.
Both Data collection, Primary Data and Secondary Data, can be used for Qualitative Research and Quantitative Research as well.
To select the Topic for Research purpose, we need to focus on the Area of Interest.
The question is, why shall Research is needed to conduct? The answer is, the base of any Research is the Problem. Mostly, Problems are identified by Observation, Feedback or Surveys.
The purpose to conduct any Research shall be:
- Factors Extracting
- Finding Solution of any Problem
- Recommendation / Solution
It is very necessary that Research shall be generalized and it can never be broader. Research shall be specific.
To select any Industry, Participants, or Respondents for Research purpose, Justification is a crucial element.
The Problem could be identified by Observation, Feedback or Reviewing Past Literature. Gap shall be tried to find through Key Variable in Past Literature.
